I have returned to the game... er... yesterday to take in all the new content and updates to the game play. I am very happy with the current standing of the game and for the first in a very long time, I can say my excitement to play is similar to the anticipation FFXI used to provide. YEAH! However the one thing that is missing from my game play with XIV is social interaction and communication among familiar players. My short time on XIV was always lacking well-established linkshells, especially right after launch when linkshells suddenly became ghost towns. #Launchfailure Since then I have not made a real effort to join a linkshell until I come across one that promises to be prosperous, occupied, AND FABULOUS! Content can be difficult to enjoy alone in XIV and progression is very important while assisting other mates. In a nutshell, I hope to find a new home in XIV similar to what FFXI was able to provide for me for many years. I look forward to do so with the enrollment and acceptance with this linkshell.
